16 year old makes Atherton debut

It's Home Matchday No. 19 today. 

After today’s match against Atherton Collieries, there is just Morpeth to come in two weeks time. These two remaining matches at the NMG give us an opportunity to improve our home record 

At present our home record is P18, W6,  D5, L7  F34, A27,  Points 29.

Two wins would make the home record look much better.



Last season in the Southern League Premier Central we finished with 61 points from 42 matches
P42, W16, D13, L13, F79, A66,  Points 61.   (Points per match  1.45 ) 

This season in the NPL our record to date is :P35, W14,  D6, L15, F57, A56, Points 48.  ( Points per match  1.37)

But if we pick up 10 points from our remaining 5 matches we will have achieved the same points per match as we did in the Southern League.  We would need wins against Atherton, Morpeth and Bamber and one point from either Ashton or Warrington.

If Matlock fail to equalise at Radcliffe today Radcliffe will be crowned Champions of the Northern Premier League Premier Division!

If Basford United come back from 2-1 down to win at Bradford and Atherton lose at the NMG Atherton will be relegated!
