On Tuesday night we travel to Bamber Bridge for the second time. The last time we went there the match was postponed after we had arrived there. Here’s hoping that this time the match will go ahead.

We are on a six game unbeaten run and Bamber have lost their last six so another win on the road looks promising but nothing can be taken for granted in this league.

Bamber’s recent poor form has seen them slip to 16th in the league table with 41 points but they are well clear of the drop zone.

Bamber Bridge’s home record is: P17, W6, D5, L6, F31, A37, Points 23
Ilkeston’s away record is: P18, W9, D1, L8, F25, A30, Points 28

On Tuesday we have a chance to move up a place to 10th if we can win at Bamber Bridge.
We are currently 2 points behind Gainsborough and they are away at Matlock on the same night. Our goal difference is + 5, Gainsborough's is - 2.

Supporters travelling to this match who normally go on the Supporters Group bus will this time be travelling on the team bus. Seats available are limited and must be booked through Zane. Bus leaves ground 3 30pm
No alcohol on the outward journey. The return journey commences after the players have changed and eaten.
Estimated arrival back at the ground. 01 00 hrs.

We go into tonight’s match as slight favourites to win if the betting odds are anything to go by and it could be special occasion for one of our players.
I'm really hoping that Jamie Walker is picked to play his 150th game for Ilkeston tonight.
He has scored 61 goals in his 149 appearances so far.
Jamie is our leading scorer this season and his tally includes some spectacular strikes like the one at Gainsborough Trinity.
He has twice scored hat-tricks this season against Lancaster and Basford.
A highly talented and versatile player equally at home playing a defensive or an attacking role.

Tonight's match gives us an opportunity to extend our unbeaten run to seven matches and record a fourth consecutive away win. Our last three away matches have ended in 2-1 wins at Guiseley, Matlock and Ashton.
James Perch may make a surprise return tonight if an unconfirmed rumour I've heard is correct.

Never like it when we are favourites and the form guide shows why as Bamber have lost all of their last six matches , will their be a bit of a hiccup tonight ? naaaaaaaaaa surely not

I've just been given a team sheet. Chance for TC in front of goal but the ball sticks in the mud. Wafula can't get his shot in but he wins a corner. It's headed clear. Yates has to come out of goal to claim a forward ball. 0-0. 14 mins
