The Lindon Meikle effect

.
There was no great expectation when Lindon Meikle signed on a dual registration from Tamworth but most supporters will agree that he has significantly improved the team and has been outstanding in several matches. Most new players take some time to settle in but Meikle hit the ground running. His debut was against Worksop. He then played in the home game against Basford before missing the matches against Stafford and Marine when he was recalled by his parent club Tamworth. Since then he has played in all of Ilkeston's matches.

11 Matches to date played by Lindon Meikle  (Won 6, Drawn 2, Lost 3)

Worksop        (A)     W 2-1
Basford          (H)     W 4-1
Stafford          (A)     missed  (re-called by Tamworth)

Re: The Lindon Meikle effect

Will he stop at Ilson though thats the main question i cant see it myself . Mind you now that Tamworth have been promoted will he get a game now ? I suppose it will come down to , can we really afford his wages as i cant see him being on a smaller wage , how far he has to travel and other teams putting in for him.
