Reece Fyfe is probably Ilkeston's main man so far. Nothing much from Brocton coming forward now. Good interception by Yeomans. Wedderburn-Spencer has a go from distance but it's well wide. 2-0 40 minutes

Spoke with the Brocton officials after the game who were very complementary about our team. They commented that they had a lot of young players in their team but there was a gulf in class between themselves and Ilkeston's more experienced players. They said that we looked a far better side than Sporting Khalsa who they beat in the previous round. They also mentioned that their keeper on the night, Joe Geldart, was normally an outfield player.
