Evo-Stik Northern Premier League News
The Evo-Stik NPL website were quick to report that Ilkeston were suspended but they have kept quiet on the suspension being lifted.
Are we the Millwall of non-league football? No one likes us?

The Club have to allow the NPL to make an announcement before making their own regarding the result of the meeting to discuss the punishment for not fulfilling the opening four fixtures. Whilst they may not be entirely happy with the outcome the Club have the option to appeal or let to it rest and move on.

48 hours on and the League still haven't issued a statement. This is very strange. Surely more transparency would be in the interests of other Clubs in the League as well as supporters.
Could it be that the NPL now feel ill at ease with their actions following the criticism that's come their way?
