Saturday we travel to Daventry Town for an FA Trophy game, Daventry have struggled so far in the league and our visit there earlier in the season ended in a 4-0 success. On that day Daventry had several players unavailable due to COVID restrictions so we're expecting a tougher game this time.

Goodson effort hits underside of the bar and Daventry scramble it away. Thats the nearest yet. Free kick to Daventry in good position about 25 yards out. Gornal-Tyler takes and his effort is way too high. Yellow for Maguire. 0-0 40 mins

Good headed interception by Fenton. It's a decent little spell for Daventry. Massive Ilkeston penalty claim but again it's turned down. Looked a certain penalty to the Ilkeston fans behind the goal.

If anything Daventry are edging it. Goodson tripped on edge of area on right hand side. Reid takes the free kick which is curling into top corner but keeper tips it over. Really good save. 0-0 70 minutes
