Looking forward to the Halesowen away match

'

I'm optimistic that we can win this match and open up the promotion race.

Suddenly Halesowen don’t look so invincible.  They are still unbeaten in the league but their last four league matches have produced only one win and that was against Wisbech. They have drawn their other three league matches against Carlton, Stamford and Loughborough Dynamo.

They recently lost an FA Cup tie against Step 5 club Handsworth Parramore and last Saturday they lost on penalties to Chasetown in the FA Trophy.

So, In my opinion, it’s looking promising for an Ilkeston win on 23rd October.

This is one away match not to be missed.

It’s Ilkeston Fair, so turn a Fair Saturday into a brilliant Saturday by travelling to the match,  The easy way to get there is on the Supporters coach. There’ll be time to visit the Fair on your return.

Re: Looking forward to the Halesowen away match

.

.

7pm tonight
According to @ilkestontown_fc twitter :  something is incoming

INCOMING    Set your alarms for 7pm!

It may not be another new player.  But if it is, are we strengthening the team to improve our prospects in the "must win" match at Halesowen?

According to Football Web Pages he played 5 games for Grantham between 21 Aug 21 and 4 Sep 21 and has not played since. So it appears that he has not played for 6 weeks. I was assuming that he must have sustained an injury which stopped him from playing.

They speak very highly off him at Sheffield FC. He appears to have had a few off field issues in his younger days but looks a very good player!
