Loughborough Dynamo @lborodynamofc
This week is an international break for the @premierleague and @SkyBetChamp but not for us! We're taking on @ilkestontown_fc in the @NorthernPremLge in a 3pm kick off at the Newton Fallowell Stadium.
We want to get as many people as possible at the ground supporting the Moes!
This weekend will be Head Coach Brad Munn's first home game in charge of the Moes. Come and join us as we take on @ilkestontown_fc in a 3pm kick off on Saturday at the Newton Fallowell Stadium. We'd love to have as many people at the game as possible so invite everyone you know!

Ilkeston traditionally take a good number of supporters to Loughborough which is a relatively short journey down the M1.
Ilkeston are currently 3rd with 32 points and Loughborough Dynamo are 8th with 20 points
Ilkeston have won their last five league matches.
Loughborough have lost their last three (all against top five opposition Chasetown 0-3, Coleshill 1-4 and Carlton 1-4)
However, Loughborough are a team capable of raising their game and proved it last month by drawing 1-1 with Halesowen.
The last time the two clubs met was 14th March 2020 when Loughborough won the game 3-1 on what turned out to be the last game of the curtailed 2019-20 season.

PAST GAMES AGAINST LOUGHBOROUGH DYNAMO
The first game we played against a team from Loughborough was in 1894 when we played Loughborough Town twice in the Midland League. We then entertained Loughborough Corinthians twenty times in the Central Alliance between 1915 and 1934. We also played their reserves six times. After the war we also played 18 games against Loughborough based Brush Sports and their reserve side between 1946 and 1957. We then played Loughborough United twenty times in the Midland Counties League between 1961 and 1971 In fact the post war version of Ilkeston Towns first ever Midland Counties League was away to United. In 2018/19 we played Loughborough University twice in the Midlands Football League including a memorable 8-1 win in a dramatic title winning end to the season.
We have played Loughborough Dynamo four times winning two drawing one and losing our last encounter. That game on 13thMarch 2020 was the last fixture before the Covid pandemic closed down almost all football. Since then nothing has ever been the same and perhaps it never will be. I like many other people wrongly thought we would be back to normal in a couple of months.

Not going Sat but this will be a hard game although Loughbrough have had a bit of a blip of late. This a game we could loose though as they always give us a good game .

They have lost their last three but all three have been against top five opposition.
Normally with a new manager at the helm, players are keen to impress but Brad Munn has been there as a coach for three years so that shouldn't apply.
They certainly gave us a good game the last time we went there beating us 3-1.
They have only lost one game on their own ground so far and that was against Coleshill.
These are their home results :
Sutton Coldfield draw 3-3
Sporting Khalsa won 6-2
Yaxley won 6-1
Daventry won 2-0
Halesowen drew 1-1
Coleshill lost 1-4
Ex-Ilkeston players, Curtis Burrows, Kevin Da Silva Bastos and Courey Grantham will be keen to do well.

It's matchday again tomorrow and a tough game against Loughborough Dynamo. The Moes are hoping for a decent turnout. There average attendance is only 131 and their biggest attendance so far was 180 when they played Halesowen. There will probably be around 300 tomorrow with a large number travelling from Ilkeston.
Be there if you can but if you are unable to travel, then you can follow the updates here on WhiteBall from 3pm with team news around 2 15pm
We will also post score updates from other matches including the important fixture Halesowen v Coleshill.
If we win and Halesowen don't we will be top at 5pm tomorrow.

Not going today but will looking on here and in Twitter although on the latter the timing isn't good at times .
Should be a good game although Loughborough have had a few bad losses . Will they put it right today ? I hope not . Will we trip up today ? Shouldn't do should we ???

We're approaching kick off time and it looks like a bigger than normal crowd. Today Ilkeston are wearing blue shirts and red shorts. Dynamo are wearing yellow and black. it's packed behind the goal where the seating is.
It's ten minutes to kickoff
Offline
The teams come out to generous applause. A minutes silence is observed before the start.
We're off .......
Offline
Ilkeston are attacking the the packed end and I can't see a thing. GOAL IlKeston Zak Goodson 1-0 5 minutes
Offline
That's Zak Goodsons tenth goal of the season and his 19th in total for Ilkeston Town
Offline
EX ROBIN WATCH - Ex Robin Aaron O'Connor puts Basford 1-0 ahead at Liversedge in the FA Trophy after six minutes
Offline
The people in the seats can't see the near goal because of all the people standing. should better in the second Half when Ilkeston are attacking the far goal. It's a scrappy start. Corner to Dynamo but Ilkeston clear. Another corner but again cleared. Chance for Dynamo but Durrant blocks the shot. 1-0 14 mins
