Supporters Group call for an EGM
The supporters group committee are calling an EGM this Wednesday the 17th of November at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. This is to carry out a members vote for a release of funds to help contribute towards urgent floodlight replacements at a cost to the club in excess of £30,000. Currently this is to be funded solely by the owners of the club but we feel this is an ideal time and suitable project to offer some assistance.

Apparently our floodlights recently failed a lux test so need to be replaced urgently in order to meet FA standard.
The FA require qualifying pitches to have their floodlighting correctly & periodically tested for a suitable light level and even average conformity.

Couldn't get to the meeting last night. Can anyone let us know what was said, or the gist of what was said? And what the owners said?

At last night’s ITFC Supporters Group EGM, members voted to donate £8000 to the Club towards the cost of replacement floodlights. The new lights costing around £30,000 need to be installed asap and will be National League standard.
Owners Dave and Andy attended and Dave gave a very honest and revealing insight into recent events and future plans.
I think it's fair to say all supporters went home happy.

As said above the floodlights failed the test and has got to be sorted out pretty quickly . The group had ring fenced money to go towards the costs at the end of the season but it will be now instead. The club didn't see it viable just to mend the ones we have at a cost around £3000.
The cost of the new ones should be around £30,000 but the club are looking to get them for around £26,000 so the group called for the EGM to vote on putting forward money of £8000 leaving the group with around £4500. The vote went 100% in favour of putting forward the money.
Dave and Nally were in attendance before the EGM to explain what had gone off with the league about the floodlights .
So basically the group will be giving the club £8000 towards the cost of the new floodlights . Time scale to be confirmed .
