Southern League Fixtures Release Day

League Fixtures Published on Friday, 15th July at Noon
The Pitching In Southern Football League fixtures for season 2022/23 are scheduled to be released at noon on Friday, 15th July 2022.
There is always great anticipation to see who your team has on the opening day of a new campaign. And it will be especially exciting for the players, officials and supporters of our new clubs. It will be new grounds to visit for Basford United, Mickleover and Ilkeston Town, who were all switched from the Northern Premier League to the Premier Division Central at the end of last season.
And the same goes for both Bracknell Town and Hanwell Town – both promoted from Isthmian League Step 4 level – in the Premier Division South.Supporters will also be glancing down the fixture list to see when the first big derby games are involving the likes of Biggleswade Town and Biggleswade FC in Division One Central following the Waders` relegation, and when newly promoted Plymouth Parkway’s matches against West Country rivals Truro City and Tiverton Town in particular will be.
Season 2022/23 is almost upon us and with it, of course, comes the unique situation of holding the World Cup midway through the campaign!

Vanarama National League fixtures are out today
Opening games are 6th August, the same as Southern League
Buxton
Sat 6th Aug Peterborough Sports (Away)
Sat 13th Aug Curzon Ashton (Home)
Tue 16th Aug Leamington (Home)
Alfreton
Sat 6th Aug Chester (Home)
Sat 13th Aug Farsley Celtic (Away)
Tue 16th Aug Spennymoor (Away)
Will our fixtures follow the same pattern with Tuesday night matches not starting until 16th August?

I guess we will be playing Saturday / tuesday for the 1st 6 weeks of the season

The Northern Premier League plan to publish fixtures for the 2022/23 season on Thursday 14th July.
The Isthmian League will publish fixtures for the 2022/23 season on Thursday 14th July.
So it looks like the Southern League are the last of the Step 3 Leagues to release fixtures

Only 3 days to wait now. New teams to play. New grounds to visit.
Will we get an early long distance Tuesday night trip? Leiston, Needham Market and Kings Langley are our furthest destinations.

we are talking about the FA here guys we know full well at least two of the furthest games will be mid week. It would be good in a way if one of them could be the first match of the season away as i know we will take a full coach so that will be one out the way . But we will see Friday wont we .

Im think barwell, coleville, tamworth or hednesford will be a midweek game.

At 4pm today our Erewash neighbours Long Eaton Utd should know their NPL East Division fixtures for the coming season.
Ilkeston must wait until 12 noon tomorrow for their Southern League fixtures
There's bound to be some moaning and groaning.
My ritual when the fixtures are revealed :
1/ Check which matches I'll miss because of September booked holidays
2/ Enter the fixtures to the end of 2022 into my 2022 Page-a-Day Diary.
Really hoping that I don't miss visiting any of the following 12 grounds that I've not been to ie. Alvechurch, Redditch, Stratford, Tamworth, Leiston, Needham Market, Kings Langley, Rushden, Hitchin, Royston, Bedford and St Ives

I will be checking all those before the midde of September, then crying about all the big games after and praying the Robins get Morpeth away in the Trophy or even Newcastle United in the third round of the FA Cup!

Matlock have got 6 league games in the first 16 days of the season.
