Unless things change we will be travelling to face high flying Coalville Town on Tuesday night for a 7:45pm kick off. It will be a tough challenge for Jamie Ward and Ben Turner's man as the Leicestershire have started the season well and are most pundits favourite for the title. They are led by Manager Adam Stevens who has had much success at the club as a player and a manager. He had a short successful spell at Grantham Town but Stevens is recognised as one of the top local managers. The Robins will therefore be underdogs and will hope for a similar fighting performance to the one that saw them defeat Matlock Town.

Coalville away is a really tough start for Jamie Ward and Ben Turner because their worthiness to permanently take on the positions of manager and assistant manager will be instantly judged on the result of this match against the promotion favourites. Avoiding defeat will be a big boost to their chances whereas a defeat will be a setback difficult to recover from.

Tamworth v Basford

Ilkeston are still without a win whereas Coaville are 2nd with 13 points. Always the optimist, I think we could win tonight. After all, if Basford can beat Coalville then they can’t be that good.

Like Ilkeston, Avechurch and Hednesford have both made poorer than expected starts. Hednesford have only conceded 7 goals in six matches but only have 2 points

Hitchin finished 17th last season but are currently 6th. They meet promoted Bedford who have 7 points from their 6 matches but were thrashed 8-1 at home by Tamworth.

Bromsgrove (9 points) and Redditch (8 points) are both mid table.

Royston finished 8th last season and are currently 8th with 9 points. Needham Market finished 12th last season and currently 15th with 7 points.

Rushall and Mickleover have identical records (P6, W2, D2, L2.)

3rd placed St Ives are doing better than expected after finishing 14th last season and it should be close game against Leiston.

Rushden have made a poor start and like Ilkeston have not won. They travel to mid table Stratford who have 9 points

Tamworth are home to Basford. Should be a Tamworth win and no crowd trouble
