Ilkeston entertain Whitby today against a backdrop of rumours of players leaving or not leaving. An inevitably young and experienced team will find top of the table Whitby a challenge today and will be happy to get anything from the game. Whitby are enjoying on of their best seasons for many years and if they end up getting promoted in May they will be playing at their highest level ever. I watched them play Sutton Colfield at the start of the season on the plastic at Eastwood and they impressed for much of the game Snaith was dominant in midfield and their full backs provided the attacking threat on the wings. They did however concede a late goal to surrender two points against a side they should have beaten!

0-0 honours even so far although Whitby look dangerous going forward!

0-0 at half time and not a bad performance by a very young Ilkeston side! Whitby taking risks playing it across the back! The Robins could get something from this game! However no notable shots on target from either side!

Still 0-0 Whitby showing greater urgency but Ilkeston still holding their own!
