After losing their first match at Leiston, Nuneaton have only had one defeat in their next 14 league matches. They are unbeaten at home and their biggest win was 4-0 at Basford. 
Their record to date is :  P15, W8, D5, L2, F27, A15  Points 29
Their home record is :     P8,  W5, D3, L0, F15, A7    Points 18
In their last game they won 2-1 against St Ives 

For us to get any kind of result at Nuneaton would be a massive achievement and  It will take a Coalville type of performance. But with less expectancy than normal we just might spring a surprise.

 The way the season is going Tamworth look favourites to take the automatic promotion spot and Nuneaton look good for the playoffs. So if Ilkeston hold any hopes of achieving promotion via the playoffs we have to be able to go to places like Nuneaton and win.  There's still time for us to click into gear and put a run together but it's not easy in this league as we've found out.
Dave Hilton made a good point recently about Tamworth. They rely heavily on Dan Creaney who has scored 18 so far, ie half of their goals. Either he won't be able to keep that rate of scoring up or if he does, a team from higher up will take him. 
Nuneaton and Coalville look the most likely to be in the playoffs leaving two places up for grabs. Leiston have a really good side and are having a brilliant season but with gates of around 200 will they really want to go up?. Redditch, Mickleover, Rushall and Needham Market will feel they can make the playoffs and are currently better placed than Ilkeston. We’ve said it before but in a tight league any team can still produce a promotion challenge. A win over Nuneaton would make it four wins out of five for us and suddenly we are the in form team.

We now have Tyree Wilson as an attacking addition. If he re-captures the form he showed under Frank Lampard at Derby then this could be an another excellent signing, I know that the team seems to be ever changing but it's also improving all the time. If we click and win at Nuneaton this could be the start of a winning run that pushes up the table. Nuneaton will want maintain their unbeaten home record and consolidate their 2nd place position so it's going to be a cracking game.

We've got a good position in the stand except we're facing directly into the sun so it's going to be difficult.
