    LITA DEPARTING PITMEN  Friday 06/01/2023

    Hednesford Town can today confirm that striker Leroy Lita has informed the club by message he wishes to leave the club with immediate effect.
    Lita, 38, arrived last season from fellow southern premier central side Stratford Town and has been a mainstay in the side however the forward has informed the club secretary that he no longer wishes to play for the club.
    The club would like to place on record its disappointment with Leroy’s decision as we felt he would play a huge part in the clubs future endeavours.
    Therefore, due to this surprising decision, once standard processes have been followed, Leroy will become available to other clubs.

    Despite playing for bottom club Hednesford Town, Lita is among the league’s top scorers with 11 goals so far.
