After seeing that 5 out of the 11 matches played this weekend in our league ended in draws, I thought I would calculate what the percentage of games so far had ended in draws. 

Of the 343 matches played to date in the Southern League Premier Central there have been 84 drawn games  
So the percentage of games ending in a draw is 24.5%    (roughly one in every four matches) 
Ilkeston have drawn 10 of their 31 games ie 32.3%
Stourbridge have drawn the most matches and have the highest draw percentage. They have drawn 12 of their 29 matches  ie 41.3%  


The draw percentage is similar in the NPL Premier Division
Of the 346 matches played to date there have been 87 drawn games  (25.1% ie  slightly more than in our league)
