Their home record is: P16, W2, D5, L9, F21, A27, Points 11.

Match Report
HEDNESFORD TOWN 0-0 BASFORD UNITED
Second from bottom Hednesford Town faced fifteenth placed Basford United at the Race Stadium at Keys Park, the Pitmen were looking for consecutive victories after completing the double over AFC Rushden and Diamonds last weekend, in a morale boosting victory.
Two lengthy injuries in the first 10 minutes lead to a slow start to the game before Kevin da Silva Bastos forced a smart save from Pitmen keeper Luke Jackson.
n the 22nd minute Hednesford Town created a good opportunity when Steph Morley whipped a ball into the box with Todd Parker’s header going straight to Kieran Preston.
The Pitmen created the best chance of the half when Chay Tilt played a dangerous ball into to the area, Danny Glover latched on to it but dragged his shot wide.
In a largely scrappy first half Basford were dominant in possession however the best two scoring opportunities fell to Hednesford.
HT 0-0
The second half continued in a similar fashion to the first with both sides working hard but struggling to carve out any goalscoring chances.
Hednesford Town survived a goalmouth scramble, while at the other end and Kemy Agustein sent a 30 yard effort inches wide of the far post.
Basford substitute Tyrese Palmer should have done better when presented with with a a decent opportunity, however Jackson was able to make a comfortable save.
Hednesford Town finished the stronger of the two teams to grind out a well earned and hard fought draw.
Hednesford Town; Jackson, Yeomans, Morley, Agustein, Kaninda, Patterson, Tilt (Asomugha 63), Parker, Glover, Brogan (Thorley 63), McQuilken (Graham 68). Subs not used; Hartley, Williams.

This is another must win game to keep our slim playoff hopes alive.
Leroy Lita returns to his former club hoping to build on his "goal a game" average since joining Ilkeston.
Hednesford's best result at Keys Park was a 5-0 win against Rushden & Diamonds and their worst result was a 9-1 battering at Tamworth.
In this season’s FA Trophy, they beat Rushall 4-3 and Stourbridge 4-2 before losing to 0-2 to Coalville.
Long Eaton United beat 3-1 them in the FA Cup

Midweek Match Preview It’s another busy midweek of action in the Pitching In Southern Football League.
And it all kicks-off this evening (Monday) with two games in the Premier Division Central.
Second-placed Leiston head to the Trico Stadium looking to return to winning ways after being held to a third successive draw on Saturday – and second 0-0 stalemate – by Hitchin Town. Darren Eadie and Chris Wigger’s side could narrow the gap on leaders Tamworth to four points as they play one of their three games in hand on the Lambs.
Redditch, who are now tenth, were beaten by another promotion contender, Coalville Town, at home at the weekend and their own top five hopes have probably gone now.
Not too far away, 11th-placed Stourbridge welcome 18th-placed Kings Langley to the War Memorial Athletic Ground. The Glassboys shared a 1-1 draw with another of the teams hovering around the relegation zone, Stratford Town, on Saturday and now host another in Kings Langley, who had a good 1-0 home win against mid-table Royston Town last time out and are now three points above fourth-bottom Bedford Town.
Tuesday evening sees another three games in the Premier Division Central and all three have significance at the bottom end of the table. Alvechurch sit in 17th place, level on 33 points with Kings Langley after losing 1-0 at sixth-placed Mickleover on Saturday. Ian Long’s side will be looking to avoid a third successive defeat when they welcome Basford United to Lye Meadow – the Nottinghamshire side sharing a 0-0 draw with second-bottom Hednesford Town at the weekend.
The Pitmen are back at the Race Stadium on Tuesday facing another tough test in seventh-placed Ilkeston Town. The Robins shared a 1-1 draw with fifth-placed Rushall Olympic on Saturday and perhaps have too much to do to catch the Pics, but Jamie Ward can be pretty satisfied with how things have gone after a tricky start to life at Step 3 level.
At the Victoria Ground, Bromsgrove Sporting, sitting in 13th spot at present, host third-bottom Stratford. The Bards are five points behind Kings Langley with a game in hand. The Rouslers gave leaders Tamworth a run for their money on Saturday before going down to a Dan Creaney effort 5 minutes before half-time at the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium.

Yes it’s frustrating that the Southern League except Bedford don’t embrace Football Web Pages. The one I go on can be 30 minutes behind if they are on at all but I believe they rely on the clubs to send in the scores. I often end up trawling Twitter which can take ages! However up on Northumberland it can be days before you find out the local scores so your still lucky down south!
