ANOTHER NEW SIGNING FOR MILLERS AHEAD OF GRANTHAM CLASH!

Carlton Town Joint Managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey have made another statement of intent ahead of Carlton’s key clash with Grantham Town on Tuesday night.
The signing of Charlie Marzano has just been announced from Quorn Fc  for the crucial run in. Marzano becomes the third signing in a week as the Millers battle to retain step 4 status.
Mark Harvey spoke to us earlier and told us “Charlie was an integral part of Ilkeston winning the league last season, he’s an energetic box to box midfielder and a quality player who could make a vital difference for our crucial run in”
Despite Carlton’s fantastic 2-0 win at Hebburn last week, the Millers Management are under no illusions of the task ahead of them with Carlton 19th in the table, 3 points behind Grantham with an inferior goal difference, but Tommy and Mark have made it clear they will throw the kitchen sink at it and they will be hoping the three new signings will make a vital difference.

Charlie Marzano made 4 appearances for Ilkeston in our league winning season 2021-22.
