Tuesday night football (28 Mar'23)

.
There are three matches tonight.

Rushden & Diamonds v Basford
Alvechurch v Royston
Needham Market v Coalville

Match of the night is Needham v Coalville. Needham have shown improved form in their bid to stay up but they have a massive task to get anything from their meeting with title hopefuls, Coalville.
Basford have chance to pull away from relegation danger when they travel to already relegated Rushden.

We have a meeting with Andy Nally tonight but I hope to post score updates when that has finished.

Re: Tuesday night football (28 Mar'23)

I keep hearing all is not well at Basford and tonight they lost to already relegated Rushden & Diamonds.
Basford are only 5 points above the final relegation spot so are not safe themselves.
Needham Market improved their chances of survival with a point against Coalville.
For Coalville it was a missed opportunity to go top for the first time. They are now level on points with Tamworth with a game in hand.

Re: Tuesday night football (28 Mar'23)

Steve Kittrick is the new manager at Basford. He lasted about 3 months at Belper earlier this season.

The Alvechurch game was abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch last night. The forecast has rain for the next 4 days (on and off) so I guess Saturday's game might be in danger.
