This is our last home match of the season and is against Nuneaton, one of the teams in the playoffs.They beat Ilkeston at their ground by 2-0 in the corresponding game so we will be looking for revenge and they will be keen to go into the playoffs on good form. Nuneaton are one of the best supported teams in our league and will probably bring a large number of fans.

Nuneaton's fans were involved in the notorious abandonment of their match against Tamworth, a match that is yet to be re-arranged. Because of the trouble at that match, the Nuneaton Borough officials will be keen that their fans be on their best behaviour at Ilkeston.

We anticipate and look forward to a trouble free game between two good sides.

At this stage of the season every match is important because results determine where each team finishes in the league.
Match of the day has to be Tamworth v Leiston. A defeat for either team would almost certainly mean they won't finish as Champions.
With Tamworth and Leiston paying against each other, leaders Coalville have a chance to consolidate their advantage at the top but they have a tough trip to much improved Stratford who need a win to ensure they avoid relegation.
The other two team in the playoffs, Nuneaton and Rushall both have tricky away fixtures at Ilkeston and Stourbridge respectively.
The teams immediately above and below Ilkeston ( ie Mickleover and Redditch), meet at Mickleover.
A defeat for Kings Langley at Hednesford would almost certainley see them relegated.

If Leiston currently on 82 points beat Tamworth and also Hednesford, they will finish with 88 points
Coalville currently on 83 points will then need 5 points from their final 3 matches against Stratford (away), Alvechurch (away) and Stourbridge (home) to finish above Leiston. Coalville have a six goal better goal difference than Leiston.
Tamworth currently on 80 points, have probably the toughest final 3 matches against Leiston (home), Nuneaton (home) and Redditch (away). If Tamworth were to win all three then Coalville would need six points to finish level with them on 89 points. Currently Coalville have just a one goal better goal difference than Tamworth.

If Coalville win on Saturday and Tamworth v Leiston is a draw:
Leiston will have 83 points with 1 game left (max points Leiston can get = 86}
Tamworth will have 81 points with 2 matches left (max points Tamworth can get = 87)
Coalville will have 86 points with 2 games left. So Coalville will need just 2 points more to win the league.

Disgraceful decision imo. Nuneaton fans caused havoc when they went 2-0 down and are now going to give the team another chance to start from 0-0. And if its not closed doors I'll be amazed.

Even if it is a closed doors replay, that's a horrendous decision. Really is a disgrace to the sport. Just cause havoc when you're 2-0 down and get a replay. Disgraceful.

Can never understand how these decisions are reached ? How on earth can this be fair

The Southern League had not other option. There is no precedent which allows the result to stand. Safety authorities should decide the conditions under which the game is replayed, nobody else. Both clubs have to take steps to mitigate risk of a repeat

A lot of people are saying that they would like both Tamworth and Nuneaton to get promoted.

But there's a big possibility that neither will be.

My guess is Coalville and Leiston will go up

So the Nuneaton fans win ( but i bet the people who caused the trouble arent proper fans ) . This sends out a message that you can cause trouble because you dont like the score and get away with it . This match should start at the time of the trouble , at the score of two nil to Tamworth with the same players (if available) . Is it hard to do ? NO it isnt . If you let the trouble causes get away with it they will do it again and again until they get the result they want . Lets stop pussying around and lets get this game finished .
Even worse these two teams could face each other in the play offs or the play off final .....NOT GOOD .

The biggest question is.

It has taken the league over 50 days to have a emergency committee meeting to make the decision?

A massive no vote in confedance in the league committee.

At the time tamworth were 8 points clear.

They were thinking tamworth would win the league so we dont need to make a decision because its been made for you.

Coalville Town lead the table by a single point and travel to a virtually now safe Stratford Town tomorrow.
Leiston are second but have played a game more than Coalville and Tamworth. And the Suffolk side are involved in the game of the day as they travel to the CR Mot Centre Community Stadium to play the Lambs.

No team has beaten us twice in the league this season but Nuneaton have an opportunity to do that this afternoon. They beat us 2-0 on their ground on 12th November.

Ilkeston have achieved two doubles this season; against Bromsgrove Sporting and Kings Langley. We have a chance to make it three in our last match at Hitchin who we beat 3-1 at the NMG on 5th November.
