    Tamworth snub to the Southern League

    Tamworth have pulled out of the annual prestige match between the Champions of the Southern League Premier Central and Southern League Premier South in a move that looks very much like a parting snub to the League.

    Premier Division Championship Match - OFF
    Saturday's Premier Division Championship Match has been postponed. Following communication being received from Tamworth FC mid-afternoon today to the League and Weston-super-Mare FC, Saturday's match has been postponed due to the Club stating that they are unable to field a team for the fixture.

    The League is extremely disappointed that this showpiece tie will not take place this season having been part of the fixture schedule since the release of the fixtures back in July 2022.
