Experienced Frontman Joins Guiseley

Guiseley have swooped to sign striker Tom Denton following his departure from Alfreton Town.
The 33 year-old joins Guiseley with vast experience behind him, having played for clubs such as Chesterfield, Halifax Town and Alfreton Town. Denton rose to cult hero status with Chesterfield helping to save them from oblivion. He has long been admired as a weapon in both boxes, and Guiseley will be hoping he provides similar qualities during his time at Nethermoor.
“I am happy to be here and I have bought into what Paul [Phillips] and Russ [O’Neill] are wanting to do here," he said following the move.
"We want to at least get to the play-offs and if we do that would be a good season.
“I don’t really set myself targets, but as a team we will want to win as many games as we can.
"I have played in the Conference, Conference North and this league, and I hope to bring all my experience from those leagues to Guiseley and help the younger players.”
