    New Competition predicting NPL results

    .
    Following the interest in Alex’s competition I’m thinking about starting a competition predicting results in Northern Premier League matches each Saturday.  

    To keep it simple : 
    Maximum10 points for a correct score
    If you don’t get the score correct:
    4  Points for a correct result  (ie home win draw or away win) and a bonus point for getting correct the number of goals scored by one team. 
    For example, If Bradford v Marske ends  2-1 to Bradford and you predict a 2-1 win for Bradford you get 10 points
    If you predict a 3-1 Bradford win : you get 4 points for getting the result right ie a Bradford win and a bonus point for getting Marske’s number of goals correct. ie 5 points in total
    If you predicted a 2-2 draw, then you just get 1 point for getting Bradford’s number of goals correct.  

    To gauge interest here are six matches to predict for this Saturday 28th October: 

    Bradford PA  v  Marske Utd
    Lancaster  v  Warrington Rylands
    Whitby  v  Gainsborough Trinity
    Brighouse  v  Belper
    Rushden & Diamonds  v  Rugby
    Shepshed  v  Corby

    Here are my predictions:

    Bradford PA  2 - 2  Marske Utd
    Lancaster  1 - 2  Warrington Rylands
    Whitby  2 - 1  Gainsborough Trinity
    Brighouse  1 - 2  Belper
    Rushden & Diamonds  1 - 0  Rugby
    Shepshed  2 - 2  Corby

    Rushden & Diamonds  1 - 1  Rugby
    Shepshed  3 - 2  Corby 


    Only WBP predicted a correct score (Brighouse 0 - 2 Belper) for 10 points
    Kev predicted 4 correct results
