Next Up, we make the long journey north to Morpeth who will no doubt still be hurting after last night's 2-3 defeat against league leaders Radcliffe which was their first home defeat. In their previous home match they beat Macclesfield 2-0

Thought they played ok and gave Radcliffe a good run for their money. fells sorry for the fans going up their Sat as it looks like there isnt much covered space .....

For the regular fans travelling it could be a bit chilly up at Morpeth.

Eight matches in our league this Saturday and Ilkeston are the furthest north.

Atherton v Marine
Basford v Workington
FC United v Guiseley
Gainsborough v Bradford PA
Maske v Lancaster
Morpeth v Ilkeston
Warrington v Worksop
Whitby v Bamber Bridge

If we lose Morpeth will go above us,
Lancaster and the winner of Whitby v Bamber Bridge could also go above us.
That would leave us in the bottom half for the first time

Morpeth away will be tough but we then have an opportunity to pick up some points before the end of November from three consecutive home games:
Tue 21st Nov Ashton United (home)
Sat 25th Nov Stafford Rangers (home)
Tue 28th Nov. Guiseley (home)
Nothing can be taken for granted but I'm thinking we should be able to pick up two wins from the above four matches.

The ground is situated in like a clearing and surrounded by trees. You travel through a wooded area before reaching the car park. Its 2.45 and no sign of the supporters bus yet.

We need to do much better in the second half. We started okay but Morpeth dominated the latter stages. Deaks is in the dugout below our seats and he is definitely not happy.

Wouldn't be surprised if he makes some changes. Nothing really happening for us up front.
