Our Boxing Day Home fixture is against Derbyshire neighbours Matlock Town and we look forward to welcoming back to the NMG, our former management team of Martin Carruthers and Wayne Hallcro.
Ilkeston have two points more than Matlock who have played two games less.
Matlock’s away record is P12 W4 D1 L7 F20 A32 Pts13
Ilkeston’s home record is P11 W5 D2 L4. F24 A17 Pts24
Matlock’s Jonathon Margetts is the league’s leading scorer with 24 goals
Please arrive early for this fixture as a big Bank Holiday crowd is expected with a large contingent coming from Matlock

It's match day and a chance for the team to show what they can do in front of a big crowd. Neither side will want to lose this one so it should be a Christmas cracker.
Matlock were expected to be strong promotion challengers this season and it's not too late as we're only half way through the season. They are the only side that we haven't played against yet.
This is our last match of 2023 so let us end the year on a high note and everyone going home happy.
