Finally it's the long awaited away match at Macclesfield.
Robbie Savage's team are intent on gaining promotion this season and are currently just outside the playoff positions.
They are currently 6th and have been in the top 8 all season
Their overall record is: P27,W14, D5, L8 F56, A34, Points 47
Their home record is : P15, W8, D3, L4, F37, A16, Points 27
Their home defeats were against Worksop. Bradford,Lancaster and Radcliffe.

For some of our players this could be the biggest crowd they've played in front of. Hope they can cope with the inevitable pro-Macclesfield volume. It's a pleasant experience for us supporters but for our players it's either intimidating or inspiring. Let's hope it's inspiring. Nothing new for James Perch of course.
With our bigger than normal away support I think our players will rise to the occasion . As Alex has said , this is a free hit. We're not expected to win. I have a feeling that we could produce a performance like we did at Worksop. It may not be enough get us a win but as long as we give it our best shot, that's good enough for me.
Can't wait for this match. Hope everyone from Ilkeston including the non regulars enjoy the day and stay with us. The brilliant non-stop away support of recent weeks is so much appreciated by the players so let's make ourselves heard and stay behind the team no matter what.

34 of the 88 seats allocated to Ilkeston fans have been taken so far so still plenty of room for people who want to sit down. Most of our fans will be on the terraces and we expect around 150 Ilkeston fans to be at the game.
There's two supporters buses and loads of fans are saying that they're driving up there.
It's going to be like Loughborough and Wisbech except we won't outnumber the home supporters.
