Radcliffe had an important 3-2 win last Saturday against promotion rivals Marine but in their four previous matches they won only once.
Radcliffe last five matches :
Sat 03 Feb. Guiseley (H) Lost 3-4
Tue o6 Feb FC United. (A) Won 1-0
Sat 10 Feb. Worksop (A) Draw 1-1
Tue 13 Feb. Atherton (H) Draw 2-2
Sat 17 Feb. Marine (H) Won 3-2
Apparently they were extremely lucky to avoid defeats against Worksop and Atherton so maybe their good fortune will desert them when they come to the NMG.

Radcliffe seem pretty sure to gain promotion to the National League North next season, So how big is the jump in standards
If Tamworth are anything to go by then Promotion to the National League North is not so daunting. On the other hand Rushall Olympic have not done so well. Rushall have 35 points from 32 games but they’re only just above the drop zone.
We’re not going to make it this season but next season, who knows?
Radcliffe are far and away the most consistent team in our league so Saturday’s match should give us an indication of whether our current side is good enough or whether we need some more experienced players to compete at the higher level.
But that’s in the future and the next step is to have a successful 2024-25 season and make a playoff challenge whether we're in the Northern Premier or the Southern Premier Central.
Radcliffe beat us 3-0 at their ground and will be favourites to win again but with the crowd behind us we just might spring a surprise.

It's the last Saturday in February, Will we end the month winless?
Sa 03 Feb Marine. Draw 1-1
Sat 10 Feb. Lancaster Lost 2-3
Sat 17 Feb Macclesfield Lost 3-5
Sat 24 Feb. Radcliffe ?
Or will we end the month on a high? if we do get the win then 4 points from those fixtures isn't so bad.

When the two teams met at Radcliffe on 14th October our No 15 shirt went missing and has never been found since then. Although we were well beaten by 3-0, Ilkeston had the first two chances of the game. Zak Goodson had the first opportunity then Kieran Fenton was so unlucky with a header from a corner which the keeper tipped over the bar.
My MOTM that day was Jude Oyibo who wore the Radcliffe number 3 shirt. He looked a class above every other player. He was strong, very quick and very skilful. He played as an attacking wing back and so far he has made 30 appearances for Radcliffe and scored 11 goals.

Your motm was the player who sent Zak with a shoulder charge . After that Zak went missing , hence got taken off later .

Flying Winger Signs Contract Extension At Radcliffe Radcliffe winger Jude Oyibo has penned a new contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Oyibo, 25, joined the Boro in September 2022, and has since made 61 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 times. He has quickly established himself as a fan favourite under the tenure of Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley, playing a significant role in their bid for promotion this season with 12 goals and nine assists to his name so far.
The former Chester and Spennymoor Town winger is delighted to commit another season to the club, saying: "I’m happy to be here for another year. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Radcliffe.
"The staff, the players and everyone else involved has really made this season what it is, and we are all heading in the right direction.
"We still have a job to do in seeing this season out and achieving what we set out to do at the start, and I hope I can keep on helping the club as best as I can."
Radcliffe will hope to extend their lead at the top of the Northern Premier League table in their next clash away at Ilkeston Town on Saturday.

Match Preview: Ilkeston Town (A)
Kieran Wilson. 23 Feb
Read all the information you need to know ahead of our upcoming trip to Derbyshire.
Radcliffe are currently unbeaten in the last five matches away from home, and now look to maintain that form heading to Ilkeston Town this Saturday. Following on from last weekend’s important victory over Marine, the Boro have had a full week of preparation ahead of this one.
The Opposition
Since a swap from the Southern Premier League, Ilkeston Town have enjoyed a balanced season so far, currently sitting comfortably in tenth and safe from relegation but seemingly just a little too far from the play-offs to make a late push.
After a run of four wins on the bounce in January, Ian Deakin’s men are without a win in their last three having faced both Marine and Macclesfield, as well as an inform Lancaster City side in the past three weeks.
In the eight-goal thriller last time out, two late goals for the home side resigned Ilkeston to defeat, despite a valiant effort at the Leasing.com Stadium. They were perhaps let down by the dismissal of top scorer Jamie Walker in the 58th minute only moments after taking the lead, being given a hill to climb after that which Macclesfield took advantage of, and he is likely to be suspended for this weekend’s fixture.

Ones To Watch
Having just signed a deal to extend his stay at the Neuven Stadium, Jude Oyibo could be key going forward for Radcliffe in this one. The winger has been a danger down the left wing in recent weeks and could make the difference having chalked up 12 goals and 9 assists so far this campaign.
Since Tom Cursons joined Ilkeston from Barwell in late December, the forward has found the back of the net five times in just eight games. Cursons scored on his home debut against FC United, and has since dispatched against Stafford Rangers, Marine and Macclesfield.
Last Time Out
When the two sides met in October, a well-managed performance secured a 3-0 win for Radcliffe against an Ilkeston side that occupied fourth place at the time. Three sensational goals from Brad Jackson, Josh Hancock and Gareth Evans were the difference on the day.Jackson opened the scoring with a delightful, chipped effort from the right wing, the Boro’s lead was then doubled just before half-time as Hancock fired the ball beyond the opposition ‘keeper and into the bottom corner after a neat lay off by Hulme. Second-half substitute Evans rocketed the ball into the top corner from the edge of the area to extend the lead.
A late second-half resurgence almost gave the visitors a route back into the game as they put the ball past Hewelt, but a raised offside flag ruled out the goal. That result moved Radcliffe onto 30 points and extended the lead at the top of the table to six points after 11 games played.

It’s match day and we take on league leaders Radcliffe who lead the table by a massive 15 points. They have only lost six of their 30 matches played. The teams who have beaten them are : Marine, Matlock, Whitby, Warrington, Hyde and Guiseley
Radcliffe went 27 league matches without a draw then drew their next two against Worksop and Atherton before returning to winning ways in their last match against Marine.
February has seen a slip in standards for Radcliffe with a defeat and two very fortunate draws in their last five matches. Their match against Ilkeston will be their 6th in February month. Maybe it’s a good time to be playing them.
