    Disappointing to travel for nearly 3 hours then have the game called off. The pitch didn't look too bad but whe the ref threw the ball up it didn't bounce. And it did start to rain quite heavily after the decision had been made.

    A cosy little ground with a nice looking stand. The Bamber Bridge officals were very apologetic and we stayed in the clubhouse while the two bus drivers took their statutory rest. There were more ilkeston fans in there than Bamber fans as it was only around 2pm.

    Don't know about anyone else but on arrival back home it seemed strange not to have the game details buzzing round in my head and no match report to do.

    Bamber Bridge v Ilkeston has now been re-arranged and will now be played on Tuesday 16th April.
