I've not given up hope but just been looking at the current teams in Evo-Stik Division One North and South. Relegation means we lose our seaside trip to Whitby but If we are in the Division One North that would be replaced by seaside trips to play against Scarborough and Colwyn Bay. There's also nice trips to Kendal and Ramsbottom. Ramsbottom who were relegated from our league last season are doing alright this season with 46 points from 30 games. Scarborough are just outside the playoff positions with 48 points from 33 games. Kendall are 14th with 40 points from 30 games and Colwyn Bay are 16th with 37 points from 31 games.
It is probably be more likely that we would join our Derbyshire neighbours Belper Town in Division One South where there would be less travelling. There are no seaside trips in this Division. Belper are currently mid table. Also in Division One South are a lot of recent opponents and fairly local sides including Basford Utd, Leek, Lincoln Utd, Sheffield, Stockbridge, Stamford, Gresley, Carlton, Rugby and Loughborough Dynamo. Basford Utd and Leek could make the playoffs and Loughborough Dynamo and Rugby could be relegated.
