    Hereford are currently 3rd in the National League North and are unbeaten so far. 
    They have played 6 matches, won 3 and drawn 3. 

    Hereford are the second best supported team in the National League North (only Scunthorpe have higher attendances)

    Their average gate this season is 2821. Last season it was 2600. Last season they finished 11th with 69 points from 46 matches
    Their home record last season was P23, W11,D6, L6,  Points 39.

    From Ilkeston to Edgar Street, Hereford HR4 9JU, using the M42, is 114 miles according to Google Maps and takes 2 hours, 25 minutes.

    It states that match tickets can usually be purchased on the day of the match from the ticket office but they recommend buying tickets in advance

    The ticket site says: 

    PLEASE NOTE - AWAY FANS ARE ALLOCATED D BLOCK FOR THIS FIXTURE

    Block D is a seating area in the Merton Stand. So does that mean all away fans have to sit in the stand ?
    Or can they go on the terrace with the home fans?

    To bring Hereford back to the Microlise would be the ultimate result for me. I know it's a big ask but a replay would be brilliant.  We would probably get a full house with Hereford's away support and hundreds of local football fans adding to Ilkeston's regular support.  I don't think we would have time to make it all ticket so the ground would be bulging. 
    That is the prize if we can earn a draw. Deaks and the players are looking forward to this match and will give it their best shot. And Ilkeston's away supporters will be right behind them every step the way. 

    Saturday could be a massive day for the club. Don't wish you'd gone when you see the result.

    Jonathan Wafula misses the Hereford game due to mandatory recovery time following his concussion injury at Worksop.
    We're trying to get another signing (defender) over the line before today's registration deadline.

    It's FA Cup Matchday and we're hoping we can cause an upset against National League Hereford at Edgar Street.   

    There will be plenty of travelling support for the Robins. I make it 98 seats taken now by Ilkeston supporters in Block D in the Merton stand.  By kickoff there should be well over a hundred showing their support and hoping for a memorable day. What a great turnout.

    Neither side have really got going so not many chances so far. Stevens gets a shot in which the keeper fumbles. Free kick to Ilkeston in decent position.  Cursons doesn't quite connect.      0-0.   29 mins

    There was a delayed reaction to the goal as the Ilkeston supporters are at the opposite end of the ground.
