Alfreton started the season well but have slipped down the NLN table to 11th after losing their last 4 matches.
Alfreton beat Staveley MW 1-0 in the previous round
The quarter final matches are:
14 January. Result : Clay Cross 1 Mickleover 4
20 January. Long Eaton Utd v Derby County U21s
21 January. Ilkeston Town v Alfreton Town
21 January. Buxton v Belper Town

The draw for the Derbyshire Senior Challenge Cup semi-finals took place this evening 🏆
The winner of tomorrow night's quarter-final tie with Alfreton Town at the Microlise New Manor Ground will face a trip to Mickleover FC in the semi-finals of the competition.

Hopefully with the reduced admission prices and a few away supporters making the short trip from Alfreton it could be a decent gate. It also could be the last chance to see super striker Tom Cursons wearing an Ilkeston shirt.

It's handbags now. Have to say it's been brewing. All the players are together as ref tries to sort it. Free kick Ilkeston is the outcome. Alfreton hanging on for dear life. But there goes the whistle. Not a performance for Alfreton to be proud of and some very lenient refereeing but Alfreton go though.
