Last season’s relegated teams
Marske United  (resigned from the NPL after overstretching their finances)They currently play in the Northern Football League Division One. (Step 6)They are currently 13th (mid-table) with 40 points (P29, W12, D4, L13)
Atherton Collieries (finished 21st last season)They are in the NPL West Division and are in danger of successive relegations.They are currently 19th and in the drop zone with 30 points (P 28,W9, D3, L16) 
Stafford Rangers. (finished 20th last season)Also in the NPL West Division and in danger of successive relegationThey are currently 20th and in the drop zone with 28 points (P26, W8, D4, L14) 
Bradford Park Avenue (finished 19th last season)They are in the NPL East Division and are doing best out of the relegated teams.They are currently 9th with 41 points  (P25, W12, D5, L8)

It seems like Atherton Collieries and Stafford Rangers are in a downward spiral and facing successive relegations. 

One relegation followed by another is not uncommon.

This season's bottom side Blyth Spartans seem to be heading in that direction

Bradford Park Avenue suffered that way last season and are only just starting to steady the ship this season.
