    Wafula Joins Nailers from Ilkeston Town

    Jonathan Wafula becomes Belper Town's latest signing.
    Belper Town are delighted to confirm the signing of Jonathan Wafula from Ilkeston Town.The 30 year old midfielder has previously played for Guiseley, Boston United, Matlock Town and Gainsborough, spending most of his career at Step 2 and 3.He will be available for selection for the game against Garforth on Saturday.

    Jonathan Wafula made 45 appearance for Ilkeston, 22 starts, 23 as substitute and scored 4 goals. Last season he scored a great header at Macclesfield in the 5-3 defeat. He also scored in the 2-1 win at Ashton United and in the home game against Morpeth. His only goal this season was in our last match at Blyth.
    A very useful player to have because he could play in several positions.
