AMAR PUREWAL BOOSTS THE ANCHORS’ ATTACK

Stockton Town Football Club can confirm the signing of forward Amar Purewal ahead of the 2025/26 season. 
The prolific striker joins the club following five years at Hebburn Town, scoring 82 times in 178 appearances. Manager Michael Dunwell has expressed his delight on securing Amar’s signature: “We’re extremely happy to get this one done. We all know he’s a brilliant player, he’s been a top goal scorer, captained Hebburn and he really leads at the top end of the pitch – he’ll bring something that we haven’t got up there.
“Every time he’s played against us he’s caused us problems. He’s probably one of very few centre forwards who has won aerial battles against our centre halves. He’s a threat in the air and with the ball at his feet. He’s fit, he’s a finisher, he’s simply everything you want in a center forward.
“He’ll bring a lot of experience as well, helping Josh, as we played two up front a number of times this year and we’ll be looking to do the same again. We’re very pleased that he’s agreed to join, it’s a big signing for us.”
