Training started off with running as in sprinting in short bursts then a short rest. It was a case of keep going for as long as you can and drop out when you've had enough. All the players did well but eventually one by one they started to drop out. So who went the longest and looked to be Ilkeston's fittest player? Matt Thornhill was the last man running and showing no sign of flagging. Sam Essien also went the distance.
The players then split into groups of 3 and did quick fire passing routines.
In the kick about at the end, Robbie Fox wasn't afraid to shoot. I think he scored at least four times.
Ilkeston's keeper looks a big lad. He's bigger than Matt Yates. Let's hope he's as good.
Alex Marshall was kitted up but didn't take part.
Media man Bradley was there taking photos.
