Ilkeston are currently just 5 points above the relegation places having lost their last 3 league matches. The next 4 league matches are against FC United (away), Whitby (away), Hednesford (home) and Gainsborough (away). These are all tough matches which on current form, we are unlikely to pick up many, if any, points from. So it’s quite possible that we could be very close to the relegation positions by Christmas.  We have the worst disciplinary record in the league meaning we can never play our strongest team due to suspensions. With such poor attendances at home games what is our best way forward?  We need results on the field and we need more people coming to watch.
