Tue17 Feb 26: Belper v Ilkeston: Derbys Senior Cup semi final ko 7 45
A chance to play in the final at Pride Park. Ilkeston are the highest ranked team to reach the semi finals but Belper are having a fine season and are pushing for promotion. They are currently 3rd in the NPL Midlands Division and they will be confident that their name is on the trophy.
After a great start, Belper's form has fallen away recently with just 2 wins in their last 8 league matches.

Well the way we are going we will get beat . Belper will be well up for this , not saying we won't BUT .... Belper are going really well , will be a good home crowd and us ? Well we will see in the night .. expect a sending off maybe ??????

It's going to be busy. I think they have made a mistake by making it £11.
Should be £10 make it easy for the person who is working on the turnstile.
I also think it will be a very big crowd,over 1000

Plenty of seats left on the bus for Tuesdays nights semi final at Belper town. Priced at £10 and not leaving the ground till 6pm, it’s a great chance for hassle free travel there and back.

Belper have a massive game before the DSC semi-final. This Saturday they are home to playoff rivals Anstey Nomads. Both are currently on 51 points but Nomads have played 4 games less than Belper.
Ilkeston are home to Guiseley and both semi-finalists will hope to go into the Cup game on the back of a win.

Belper will no doubt feel they’re due a change of luck after conceding a last minute penalty goal against Anstey Nomads while Ilkeston will be lifted by victory over Guiseley.
This DSC semi final really does look like being a cracker with both teams thinking they can win. Should be over a thousand in the ground making it a fantastic atmosphere under the lights.
These games don’t come around often so make sure you’re there.

DERBYSHIRE SENIOR CUP SEMI FINAL MATCH DAY
The Ragar Stadium will be bouncing tonight as Ilkeston and Belper meet in the Derbyshire Senior Cup semi final. Will Ilkeston’s seniority prevail or will Belper cause an upset? The result is on a knife edge, it could go either way. A touch of brilliance or an unfortunate mistake could bring joy or despair.
There’s not much difference between the status of the teams as Belper are pushing for a promotion which would put them at the same level as Ilkeston.
Ilkeston have struggled for consistency this season and are mid table so the Derbyshire Senior Cup is a chance to keep their season alive and win a trophy.
Will it be delight or despondency at the end of the game?
Large numbers of Ilkeston fans are expected to make the short journey to Belper and a crowd in excess of a thousand is expected.
Glossop play Mickleover in the other semi final for a place in the final at Pride Park.

It’s an even game now. Kirby-Moore shot blocked for a corner. Belper defensive header goes just over and lands on the net. for another corner . Big chance for Belper at the other end and the ball flies just wide.

Belper on top now. Belper corner. Its headed off the line after Roberts can’t hold on to the ball. It’s another corner. This time the header goes over bar
