Alnwick Town entertain Billingham Town on the back of four straight victories which have re ignited their slim hopes of reaching the Northern League Division Two play offs. The up turn in fortunes has been a surprise considering Alnwick Have lost top scorer Jamie Clark who joined Blyth Spartans and key players in Joe Eggleston, Brannon Patterson and Luke Baston who we believe are suffering from long term injuries.
Billingham Town, todays opponents, are a mid table side five points behind Alnwick but with two games in hand. A win for Alnwick could see them just three points off the play off places but some of the teams they are chasing have games in hand.
