Workington prepare for 2026-27 season at their new temporary home

Workington Reds will prepare for a season of NPL Premier League football at their temporary home Derwent Park, Fibrus Community Stadium, the home of Workington's Rugby Club.They are likely to be there for 18 months before they can move back to the new Cumberland Sports Village which will be built on the site of Borough Park.
Derwent Park is a Rugby League Stadium and former motorcycle speedway track in Workington situated beside the Cumbrian River Derwent. It is used mostly for rugby league matches and is the home stadium of Workington Town who play in League1, the 3rd tier of the British rugby league system. Derwent Park has a capacity of 12,000 people with 1,200 seats and the pitch is surrounded by a 398 yards (364 metres) motorcycle speedway track.
