Alnwick Town face a tricky away tie at Jarrow after an excellent away result at Durham United in midweek. I watched Alnwick last Saturday struggle to get a goal against a busy and resilient Park View. They lost 2-0 with an early and a  late goal both on the break. My main worry though was the lack of creativity and a very subdued attacking force. At the end of the game most of the local pundits thought the club were in for a long season struggling to stay up. However the club travelled to Durham and came up with a brilliant reaction to their opening defeat. Their 7-1 win must be their biggest win for several years and will boost the confidence of the clubs mostly new squad. The game at Jarrow will be a good test of how the team really are!
