    Next Match : Heather St Johns (home)

    Having Matthew Hallam as our groundsman gives us a much greater chance of playing this Saturday. The number of games (all away) that have been postponed has been very frustrating for the Club, the team and supporters. Saturday we host Heather St Johns who gave us a really good game at their ground earlier in the season. 
    Heather are 8th in the table. They have played 25 the same as Ilkeston and have 9 points fewer. Heather are usually involved in high scoring games Their matches so far have contained 132 goals (more goals than any other team), they've scored 78 and conceded 54. 
    They have the leagues top scorer, Simeon Cobourne who has scored 34 goals in the league. Second highest scorer is David Yonwin with 11 league goals.  Another of their players, Thomas Weale has been voted opposition player of the match, nine times.

    Tomorrow's match against Heather St Johns will be our 16th home game played so there are only another five home games to come. (All Saturday matches)
    Sat  10 March     v Pershore Town
    Sat  24 March     v Racing Club Warwick
    Sat  31 March     v Cadbury Athletic
    Sat    7 April        v Studley
    Sat  14 April        v Littleton

    Due to postponements we have only played 10 away games so there are another eleven to come. Of these, seven will be evening games. These include Leicester Road, Brocton, Paget Rangers, Cadbury Athletic, Racing Cub Warwick, Walsall Wood and Coventry Copsewood (not yet arranged).

    With such a heavy schedule of matches in the last two months it's not surprising that Steve Chettle would like to bring in an additional couple of players. 

    Our next three league games should reveal whether we still are still in with a promotion shout.
