Strong Penalty appeal by Ilkeston following good move but ref says no. Ilkeston pushing forward but nearly caught out by Buxton counter attack. 10 minutes gone

Baker up for free kick gets his header on target but saved by keeper. Buxton forwards are very lively and causing problems for Ilkeston's defenders. Rose breaks away but his pass to Atkinson is behind him. 2ND goal for Buxton after18 minutes, Worsfold again.

Poor defending allowed Buxton to carry the ball too far without being challenged. Shaw slams ball across goalmouth but nobody there to knock it in. Ilkeston defence can't contain the Buxton forwards who are running riot . Half hour gone, Buxon in control.

Stinging cross by Atkinson but keeper holds. Shaw shoots but keeper saves comfortably. Goddard brought down in area but no pen. Decent spell by Ilkeston. 40 minutes gone 0-2.

Goal Ilkeston Scorer Atkinson. 1-2 . Strong finish to the half by Ilkeston. Deserved that goal.

One minute added time. It's half time. Buxton 2 Ilkeston 1. Atkinson has not left the field yet. Being treated by Lydia. Dexter's goal was after 43 minutes. Low Shot fired across the goal into the corner of net.

Ilkeston can be reasonably happy with the scoreline because Buxton looked capable of scoring nearly every attack early on. Ilkeston did create chances of their own but looked vulnerable until about 15 minutes before half time.

Good start by Ilkeston. Long range effort by Shaw . Buxton player booked. Lucky goal for Buxton . massive deflection takes ball past Hill. Hat trick for Worsfold.. Goal against run of play.

Good play by Rose wins corner. Rose has been Ilkeston's best attacking option. Good possession by Ilkeston but not much threat so far. 70 minutes gone 1-3.
