If you can't travel to the game you may follow the match progress here as usual..

Copsewood are mid table with 42 points from 30 games. They have recently done reasonably well against the top sides. In the last six weeks they have beaten Atherstone 2-0 (home), lost to Atherston 2-0 (away), lost to Walsall Wood 1-0 (home), and lost to Racing Club Warwick 2-1 (home).

There must be some doubt about tonight's matches but assuming the games are on, besides concentrating on the Ilkeston Town game, I will also give goal alerts on the important Hinckley AFC v Racing Club Warwick game as they happen.

With the announcement that the season is being extended, Copsewood may well prefer the chance of this fixture being played on either Saturday 5th May or Bank Holiday Monday 7th May when they would be guaranteed a much bigger gate. For this reason I can't see them breaking their necks to get their pitch playable for tonight's match. Can't blame them can you?

Apologies to Coventry Copsewood, I was wrong and tonight's game is on. Kick off 7.45

Bolehall v Uttoxeter is off but Coventry Copsewood v Ilkeston and Hinckley v Racing Club Warwick are on. There will be Updates on both these matches here on Whiteball tonight.

Close shave for Ilkeston as header goes just wide. Copsewood are having a good spell. 0-0 20 minutes

Good cross by Alex but keeper grabs. Shaw deflects a shot wide for a corner. Headed wide by Copsewood forward.
Still 2-0 to R C warwick after 20 minutes.
Copsewood are certainly not second best but there have been few chances.

Marshall gets on the end of a cross but can't direct it goal wards . Marshall shoots but keeper collects. Good effort by Copsewood No 7 . Luckily its just wide.

Ilkeston now in control . Keeper just keeps out Malachi shot. Nearly third goal.
Copsewood find the net but flag is up for an obvious foul. Malachi injured and replaced by Hopkinson. Marshall fouled by Copsewood 9. Nasty challenge but ref takes no action. That's half time

Good play Hopkinson. Ball flies across Copsewood goal but no one there. It's finished Ilkeston win 3-1.

Result in the other game : Hinckley 4 R C Warwick 4 (last minute penalty equaliser for Racing Club)

That was the most bad tempered game I have witnessed. At full time I saw Steve go over to the Copsewood dugout to shake hands and it looked like he got a load of abuse from one of their coaches. That was totally not necessary.
