    Joe Burgess Signs for Stamford

    Daniels Return for Burgess

    Forward Joe Burgess made a return to BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One South East club Stamford AFC ahead of the signing deadline for the prematurely ended 2019/20 season.
         
    The 24-year-old had joined Southern League Division One Central side Corby Town in July 2019 from Stamford.
     
    He is comfortable playing in midfield or attack and finished 2018/19 as the top scorer for the Daniels with 11 goals and also picked up the managers` player of the year award.
     
    He has also played for the likes of Boston United, Ilkeston, Histon, Fleetwood Town and Peterborough United.
