One of ex Ilson greats ( in my eyes ) Darryl Thomas has retired from football . I thought he was a great player at Ilkeston scoring plenty of goals , but missing loads . His cross field runs with pace made him hard to defend at times . But the main thing for about DT is his love of celebrating in front of the fans . The best of his celebrations was his goal against Leek in that famous play off final .... sheer brilliant !!!!!!!! All the best DarrylÂ
