Alnwick Town came through this game comfortably winning 3-1 against Killingworth. This was a fiesta encounter with Killingworth reduced to nine men before the end and managing to have their assistant manager shoes a red card as well. Simon Farrier, Brannon Patterson and Jaymie Shell provided the goals that took the Wick into the next round. In that next round Alnwick have been drawn away again this time to Wideopen who are a division below but are joint top of that division. The game should have taken place tomorrow but has already been postponed almost certainly due to the amount of rain we have had in North east this winter. Alnwick have not played a home game since October 14th when they were defeated by Wallington 0-1. Ironically this is not due to the weather has they have had a scheduled home in that time. The Northern Football Alliance do not release fixtures for the whole season and at the present time there is no indication of who Alnwick will be playing in the coming weeks.
