Alnwick’s league game against Haltwhistle Jubilee has been switched to the Greensfield 4G pitch and to a Friday 7:45 kick off. This is a shame as it means I cannot get to the game despite living only 40 yards from the pitch. Alnwick have played the Joobs once this season in one of the many cup competitions they have up here. Alnwick beat them 3-2 but they made hard work of it and tonight they will be looking for a decisive win to boost confidence after a number of recent defeats on the 4G!
