Because of their exploits in the FA Cup and FA Trophy, Trinity have spent most of the season in the bottom half of the table. it's been a case of league form suffering because of playing so many matches. But they are recognised as one of the best sides in the league.
Their home record is P14. W5. D3. L6, F19, A20, Points 18.

Declan Howe was top scorer in the league last season and has scored 29  goals this season (15 in the league)

They are unbeaten in their last 5 matches (2 wins and 3 draws)

.

Could this be the match when our luck changes. We've been on the wrong end of several penalty decisions in recent matches. Maybe we'll get one at Gainsborough.  Our's is the only midweek game this week so we have a chance to go within two points of Stockton. Keep the faith. Deaks and the team won't give up so why should we? All the teams around the playoffs are dropping points.

Not a great first half but we're level and neither side has really looked like scoring.
