Good ilkeston move ends with Tom Marshall shot deflected for a corner. Free kick by Griffiths is saved by Mitchell. Swift attack by York has Ilkeston back peddling. Walker appeared to be fouled but free kick goes against him. Good effort by Burrow for York but it's just high and wide. 0-o 13 minutes

York are having plenty of possession in midfield. Great pass by Griffiths sets Burrow away but the ball goes out for a goal kick. Heslop spoken to by ref following a foul. GOAL Ilkeston. Levelle Moore 18 minutes.
Hopkinson won the header and Malachi headed home.

Good save by Hannis. York look dangerous every attack. Penalty to York. Trip by Jemson. Jordan Burrow scores 1-5 53 minutes

York keeper Bartlett forced into a save at the foot of his post. Jemson to the rescue. Powerful Hamza Bencherif won't give the ball up - excellent determination by the York No 4. Ilkeston are being outplayed at present. Hour gone Several substitutions now taking place. 1-5.

Good defensive work by Ben Morris. Ilkeston are struggling to make something happen up front. York's defence is too good. Good curling effort by Griffiths but it doesn't quite curl enough, great try though.

Jordan Wheatley comes on (now hopefully recovered from his injury) 71 minutes.
Hannis comes out well to collect as York look for another goal.

Great block by Jemson as he gets in the way of a thunderbolt. Wheatley puts Bailey in but Bencherif is too good and snuffs out the danger. Langstaff cracks one in but he was well offside. 1-5 80 minutes

I can't speak for others but I think we let ourselves down it. We give then to much time on the ball.
The new centre half doesn't look fit and Elliot was playing in a different game to everybody else.
The new keeper looks ok but he needs to put his hand up for one of the goals. They shot and he was like Casper the ghost it went straight through him

Alex - I too was disappointed with our performance especially in the second half but give credit to York City who are a very good side and had three or four outstanding players. You mentioned our centre half presumably you mean Sean Rickford. I was impressed with him in the previous friendlies.
