Tuesday night Football : Loughborough Dynamo v Halesowen Town
There’s only one midweek match in our league but it’s an interesting one with league leaders Halesowen travelling to Loughborough Dynamo. Dynamo are in 6th position after winning six of their last seven matches but they haven’t beaten any of the “big” teams yet so this game will be a test to show whether they are in a false position.
After this fixture, the top six will all have played 11 matches and if Halesowen win they will have a five point lead over Chasetown and Carlton and a six point lead over Ilkeston. So Loughborough will do us a massive favour if they can get any kind of result.
On 23rd October Ilkeston have a chance to reduce Halesowen's lead by 3 points when the two teams meet.
Two other Derbyshire teams are also in action. Premier Division League leaders Matlock visit Grantham and third placed Buxton travel to Basford.

MATCH PREVIEW BY JAMES KENDRICK
Loughborough Dynamo are back in league action tonight as they take on Halesowen Town in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division. The Moes will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing defeat to Sporting Khalsa in the FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round on Saturday when they lost 6-3. However, in the league things are looking a lot rosier for Dynamo. The Moes have won six out of their last seven games in the league including most recently a 2-0 home victory over Daventry Town which came as a result of goals from Courey Grantham and Michael Jacklin. Loughborough's recent form has seen them shoot up to sixth place in the league table and they sit just two points outside the play off places with a game in hand. However, tonight's game is the first of five in a row against the top five teams in the league and these games will truly start to define Loughborough's season. Our opponents, Halesowen Town, have made a very good start to live in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division. They've taken 26 points from their first 10 games and they have scored 27 goals in the process. Halesowen are still unbeaten in the league this season and have most recently beaten Wisbech Town 2-0 in a home league fixture. One of the ones to watch for Halesowen Town tonight is Kyle Finn. Finn has scored six goals this season including a brace away at Sporting Khalsa already this season. He often plays in the number 10 role and Loughborough Dynamo will have to be wary of the threat he poses this evening. These two teams have only met on four previous occasions with Halesowen Town winning all of those games. The last meeting between the two teams was at The Grove in April 2014 when Halesowen Town ran out 1-0 winners with a late goal. As far as team news is concerned, Loughborough Dynamo have two injury doubts for tonight’s game. Goalkeeper Jay Alexander is still recovering from his hand injury and is a doubt. Defender Danny Gordon is also a doubt for tonight’s game after he limped off with an injury on Saturday. However, new signing Jack Andrews is eligible for selection in tonight’s game. Tonight, is sure to be a really exciting game as two of the highest scoring teams in the league face off against each other. There have been 32 goals in Loughborough Dynamo’s 5 home games this season so you’re guaranteed entertainment. It would be great to see as many people at the Newton Fallowell Stadium as possible tonight and you’re sure to get value for money! Come on Dynamo!!!!!!

Loughborough Dynamo 0 Halesowen Town 0 after 10 minutes
It’s been a dominant start to the game for Halesowen Town. They’re keeping the ball well but Dynamo have stopped them having any clear cut chances
A Dynamo counter attack leads to their first chance of the game as Bastos gets played through but his shot is just off target

Loughborough 0 Halesowen 0 after 30 minutes
The game has settled down into a bit of a pattern with Halesowen still seeing the majority of the ball. Dynamo look most likely to score however.
