Pre-season promotion favourites Stamford are now very much back in contention for the automatic promotion place.
They are up to 5th and only 3 points behind second place Halesowen having now played the same number of games. 
Only six points separate leaders Ilkeston and Carlton in 7th place.
Last night’s win at Sporting Khalsa extends Stamford’s unbeaten run to eight matches.

We play Stamford at the NMG on Saturday 18th December in the 2nd of our free admission games. 
This is a critical fixture for both clubs. 

Sporting Khalsa weren't the only team to experience last minute disappointment last night.

Chesterfield and Buxton also conceded 90th minute goals which robbed them of victory.
